The Labour Party's Struggle to Take Out Harriet Harmon
I think really that what he's doing there is appealing to his base in attacking the Labour Party, right? In kind of spinning this narrative that he is being undermined and taken out by the Labour Party. This was something that was in the cards back when Sue Gray investigated part gate in her report. I think that just plays well with with his subset of MP supporters, which is relatively small and the kind of Tory members as well. And it's linked to his intention to stand down. He just wants to retain this kind of image of himself as a winner as a real kind of somebody who always wins.
