The Importance of Setbacks
The way we position ourselves for success is far more important than our talent and competence. It's not ability but having had a particular set of experiences that make us successful. I discovered the ability to thrive on setbacks was much more important than avoiding them. And all of these people, these 20 people, have what I call a transforming experience. They didn't plan their transforming experience or they should be aware of opportunities that come along.
