The Psychedelic Movie August of the Plugger Dome

Kenneth Anger: The August of the Plugger Dome is kind of a masquerade of different deities, which was based on a practice that I had read about from Crow. It's very similar, actually, to the Holy Mountain, where the characters are kind of these god-like personages. And so it's interesting that then Kenneth Anger, right at the eve of like the LSD explosion, is kind of serving up this kind of psychedelic aesthetic.
