Most of the great, great founders are disagreeable in the sense that they disagree. That doesn't mean that they need to be disagreeable with humans. So it does not necessarily follow to me that because youare an iconoclast and because you are a very clear thinker, that you're all so rough with people. I don't think that the two have to come int i think, frankly, lets yuse a stereotype, and stereotypes are always risky.

The son of an economist, Eric Schmidt eschewed his father’s profession, first studying architecture before settling on computer science and eventually earning a PhD. Now one of the most influential technology executives in the world, he still however credits his interest in network economies and platforms for a large part of his success.
