How to Define a Waldo Detecting Filter

Each convolutional layer is with by hith pixtles and feature maps. Each filter has a window size, that the size of the filter is called the window width and height. The stride determines how much that window moves at any given time. If you are using a stride of one, then that window moves over one pixle at a time. And the resulting feature map is the same size as your original image. In other words, your image gets compressed to a smaller image.
