Claudius and Laertes' Trial
Laertes enters and bids his followers to wait outside and guard the door. Laertes demands that Claudius give him Polonius. Gertrude holds Laertes back, but Claudius tells her to let Laertes go. Ophelia sings a lament about a funeral. She then proceeds to hand out flowers to Laertes, Gertrudes, and Claudius. When Laertes sees Ophelia, he is overwhelmed at seeing her state.
