Sufism and Adultery - The Man of Nosis and the Sufi in All Things
The arabic alphabet to day does not show the original order of the letters, an order which the arabs took over the other semitic peoples. By writing a, b, g, d, he obtained seven words, or teserads, each composed of four letters, severally proper to the four elements and each attributed to one of the seven planetary spheres. The very name adultery becomes entirely unmeaning for the sufi. For the sufi, the legal has no longer any place at all.
