The Evolution of Chat GPT

Chat GPT is a text continuation system that have been, again, a long series of language models. These all used language models dating back to the 1940s and Shannon's work on information theory. It's turned out it's possible to train a language model that also has sort of backup knowledge in it that can do very impressive things. The thing that is a surprise with chat GPT is its instruction following capabilities which really makes it pop at a Turing test level.
