How to Have Conversations With African American Parents to Address Negative Mindsets About ADHD
Teachers have to confront their biases in order to help a child get the services that they need. The stigma helps you be able to have that conversation, and then finding that person within the school that that parent has a relationship with. And so if you're not comfortable with talking about it or especially not talking about it with an African American parent, I'm going to say the same thing.
