What Does Modeling Mean for the Uninitiated?
The whole economy runs on Microsoft Excel. Every company is making all the decisions based on models that they build in Excel to kind of project how much money they're going to have in the future and what new lines of business might do for them. But our main thesis is that we don't think Excel was designed for modeling. So a model is just like a simplified view of the world that helps you sort of understand how things work.
