The Dopamine Waveform and Behavior Transitions
Dopamine is especially firing at the boundary between behavior transitions. Boundaries are so important in, you know, interpersonal relationships and brain function. We need a behavioral segmentation. We need an interpersonal boundary segmentation. This is how dopamine neurons feel about it. What's really funny is that they found two different dopamine waveform that look very similar, but they code for completely different behavioral module.
