The Dino-Tawaidus Gaffi
The Dino-Tawaidus gaffi was a humongous bird of prey that flew over South Australia's Flinders Rangers more than 60,000 years ago. The giant eagle was an apex predator, which means it was at the top of the food chain. Some of its favourite meals were kangaroos and other birds. With a wingspan of more than three metres, when its wings were spread wide, they were about as long as a small car.
