The Importance of Simulation and Accommodation
In the 1960s and 70s, there were a lot of alternative religions forming where people would find their way into small churches. The idea of brainwashing at that time was a Manchirian candidate kind of thing. And so it's not just religion either, like, and recognizing that these are just very human tendencies helped me move forward.
