For anyone who's lived through the dotcom crash, right, the boom and bust cycle of the late 90s, early 2000s, this will seem very familiar. So I think what's worth remembering here is that this isn't that new. This sort of thing has happened before and will probably happen again. And it's nice to have a narrative of why these things happen and what they do to the psychology of those embedded in these industries.

Paris Marx is joined by Wendy Liu to discuss what it was like to work in tech in the 2010s and why structural changes in the industry are empowering an increasingly reactionary capitalist class to strike back at workers and upend the expectations of the boom period.
