We tend to hold and buy and hold for such a long time. It's almost, it's a bit of a red or black gamble. You could consider completely different asset classes. Follow your interests and hobbies and invest like that. Find or form an investment club and just maybe consider weird holding patterns. Plenty of ways to have fun with your investments.
