The Importance of Science Fiction in Preventing Nuclear War

I think people of our generation and maybe it's naive but I felt like we were out of the woods you know like okay the cold war is over and and we don't have to worry about nukes anymore or or terrible war we too. We had contact to to people on the other side of the Iron Curtain Curtain a lot of people in the northern South Co-common in the U.S. knew they're kind of like us like us right yeah that was certainly wrong.
