I didn't write this book to make parents feel guilty. I think it's really hard to be a parent today. Parents are stressed about all sorts of things but this unregulated seductive addictive technology. The problem is that once you start, it's hard to stop. And if you start depending on screens when your kids are really young, then they are going to need screens in order to occupy themselves. But you have to play with kids all the time or you're a bad parent. It's not true. That's what we're going to do as kids can play with our children all the time and also opportunities to be able to play on their own"
