Is There a Case Marking in Nouns?
Nouns in our position don't have a case model. Coptic has this linking grammar that combines these two elements. If you're going to have somewhat flexible word order and noun-like non-agreeing adjectives, then you might want to think about having some way to distinguish a derivative from predicate. It is interesting to me to find out how many different ways there are to do this, especially, but effectively. There's just a lot more variation than I had really ever sat down and thought about.
