FERC Order 2222 is forcing everyone to come to grips with the fact that Pat Wood said in 2004, this regulatory safe harbor of 15% backfeeding into any distribution circuit in the grid being totally safe without asking anybody for permission. There is no way that regulators and ISO and RTO operators can ignore the sheer quantity of batteries on the largest commodity supply chain which doesn't feature storage. And so I just think the magnitude of this is unfathomable by people who've been working on VPPs for 40 years. Like, this is a tsunami.
