We have such a short half life of new technology that like the cycle that we see on Twitter and the blogs and whatnot. It's rarely focused on something old or something that hasn't changed. So people assume that even though there's all these commits and things happening that's dead, because there's not a thousand blog entries a month coming out from everybody who's doing it.
