Eddie's Sister's Death

Eddie Shannon's sister Martha was seriously ill. Residents of their last town had raised more than $23,500 in 1985 money for a heart and lung transplant for Martha. When Eddie heard about his sister's death, he went to pieces. He had just lost his mother five months before. The night that she died, Eddie and his family were at a fundraiser for Martha to raise more money because that's all they did was try to raise money to save her life.
