The Transformation of Literary Culture in Japan

The works by Sheikki and Soikki are kind of weird, you know, they're like amoebas. And that's why I've been attracted to those poetic works in particular because it's sort of allegorizing this crisis in literary form during the late 19th century up to the turn of the 20th century. Do you think their writing methods, their way of treating poetry in any way represent transformations in the literary culture of Japan?
