Is It a Long Life Journey?

We exist in a society centered around instant gratification and that proliferates the marketing around some of these language learning products as well. And it's hard not to expect a lot of progress from ourselves and to be really hard on ourselves for not being able to meet those expectations. I think overall it's kind of just damaging and just feeds into our fears, you know, and it's not necessarily justified.
