Introduction

Palliative care is a specialty in and of itself. It's becoming more and more ingrained into critical care. We actually at UK through our medicine ICU have a palliative critical care fellowship that combines palliative care and critical care. And so it's not really my one-on-one experience directly with patients, but these services are something they're less comfortable working with than other services.
