The concept of laboristocracy is one that was analyzed even as far back as angles in the middle of the nineteenth century. The basic idea is like this, within certain working classes, there is a privileged strata which gets a slighter, slightly larger bit of the pie. This dulls their class consciousness and turns them from revolutionary to asant. And these people at first existed as a small layer and then urged by social democracy.
