It's part of the problem that when companies buy digital advertising, they haven't really got a clear sense of where it's going to end up. Social media platforms are responsible for their algorithms and there is legislative movement to try and make them more responsible for that. Now the freelance climate deniers or climate misinformers, you'd be surprised how often they are paid or in some way incentivized by the fossil fuel industry to put that kind of misinformation on the stuff. It's all part of this big web and network of just trying to delay policy as much as possible. But then it has the consequence of delaying necessary climate action.
