Mallory's the Golden Age
Mallory was involved in the wars of the roses, a dynastic civil war that repeatedly convulsed england. His manuscript was obtained by william caxton, who published it in 14 85. The book celebrates courtly love and chivalry much like literature from the sort of arthurian golden age in the 11 and 12 hundreds. It is a completely idyllic picture of camelot and arthur's realm. There is no mention of commerce or agriculture or menial labor of any sort,. No mention of aging. In one episode, she seduces arthur and then gives birth to an in stous child, mordred.
