The Speed Force in the Flash

The last third of the flash felt geared to like patting fans on the back for having their Leonardo DiCaprio moment. The CG might have been more forgivable had the CG not been so hideous. And it's also the kind of CG that, or the kind of effects work rather that dates faster than anything. Like you look at a movie from 30 years ago and they're still using practical effects. They still look pretty cool. Whereas you'll watch a movie from like eight years ago with like the previous or a couple of previous iterations of CG and it just looks honkingly bad.
