Cognitive biases are like optical illusions of thought that make certain ideas seem intuitively right even when it can be proven about doubts that they are wrong. Confirmation bias is why our brains reliably view information the degrees of our preconceptions is more important than information which conflicts with them so this kind of ties in nicely what we were talking about last week with media bias and how people sometimes these anti-vegan articles are often the most popular ones because they are line of people's preconceived notions of what they believe to be true or actually importantly what they want to be true. I think as vegans we probably are guilty of this too where you know if we have some of it's pro vegan
