Neo-Marxism and Critical Race Theory

Neo-Marxism is a 20th century school of thought that sought to simultaneously critique classical Marxism while retaining many of his essential features in a new way. For example, neo-Marxism seeks to retain the broadly socialist and communist project at its heart while approaching the issue culturally rather than economically and materially. Some of it's more prominent in influence include Antonio Gramsci, C. also Gramscien, Max Horkheimer, Theodore Adorno, and Herbert Marcuse. And then, of course, he mentions Jacques Derrida, which we would identify as being really a branch of postmodernism.
