Robert Scott and the South Pole
It's one of the most incredible stories of adventure that i am aware of. And yet a lot of people, even at thet time, didn't seem to know much about it. They knew about robert scott and his ill fated expedition to the south pole. Why was it that shackleton wasn't seen as the hero he was was at the world war? People had other things on their minds. He pretty much disappeared from view. Even though he'd done four expeditions, he really wasn't very popular. The british establishment didn't like him very much. His leadership style is now taught in American business schools.
