Paul Erdos is one of the most celebrated mathematicians of the 20th century. Born into a Jewish family in Hungary, his life was shaped by rise of fascism and anti-Semitism. He produced more than 1,500 papers and collaborated with around 500 other academics. With me to discuss the career of Paul Erdos are Timothy Goers, Professor of Mathematics at the College of France in Paris; Andrew Clegan, Associate Professor in Mathematics at the University of Birmingham; and Colver Rudy Dougal, Professor of Pure Mathematics at theUniversity of St Andrews.
