Neil Stevenson coined the word meta-birth. William Gibson described a sort of internet-y thing based entirely around VR in a dystopian futuristic world and here we are in 2023. There's a similar argument now around instead of VR AR so VR meaning I wear something that basically a physical screen in on as a pair of head as a headset which may then have cameras on it. The problem with holodens is no one has actually got to work out where you have a good field of view for this kind of technology.
