The band sent their demo overseas to the label rough trade who then got NME involved in releasing the strokes for a single last night. If you look around you'll find out how many labels in America had already passed on this band's demo. They're like no. Which that seems pretty strange to me because the first thing NME started saying about this band is that they were setting New York City on fire. The Stroke Script off everyone playing simple rock and roll music so bad we're going to say to the greatest band even though we saw was a modeling picture. Look at the rest of this band's career.
