Learning How to Infer
Learn how to infer is basically using what you know to make a guess about what you don't know. Don't read material that is too far above your level, instead skim through the article and focus on words that you don't understand. Take notes of the word that you don’t know but then go double check later on if you were correct. If you want to learn more about word formation, I think Chiagua is the word formation king. Check out the list that he did with Ethan where you can learn how prefixes and suffixes can really help you to understand the meaning of words without having to learn every new word.
