The Concept of Fordance in Robotics

Afordensis. Canyou: We use a language modelin in a different way than i'm used to seeing, not for generation, but for scoring. In this context, we refer to affordances as something that is aware of what the robot is capable of doing in a given situation with a given embodiment. For instance, if you ask a robot to bring you a coke, it should be able to tell whether it's actually possible to do so. The concept of fordance comes from,. like american psychologist james j gibson, in the ecological approach to visual perception. So in this case, it means what a roba can do in a certain state.
