As a consequence of the quatenary glaciation, there had to be more available moisture on the planet five million years ago. The sahara desert is a huge arid area in north africa, and it is vast due to the fact that we are in the quatonary glaciation. However, if we go back five million years, we will find that the sahara Desert would have been much smaller,. More pliant life would have existed as more moisture existed. Desert lands would have been grass lands, and grass Lands would have been rain forests. Through geological research, we can feel confident that africa would have had more trees and plants growing there which would have suited
