I actually thought that the turning point was going to be the 2008 crisis, but I think what happened is we didn't get the right narrative. Cheap labor is over and this is a point I want to draw out quickly because we often think about the post neoliberal world as being something that was put on steroids by the Trump administration. We're moving to a world of more regionalization and a focus on resiliency. Some fractious geopolitics are good for us; there are a lot of tailwinds to this trend. It's not okay to have just a handful of companies monopolizing supply chains. And maybe I'll launch into questions with that in my next book.
