The military is decentralised and uses open source tools like Git-Pow to share information about enemy positions, says Julian O'Mara. It's radically different from the way that most military organizations have operated in the past where you tend to have very rigid hierarchies. If it was not for the presence of these lateral networks, Ukraine would have lost long ago according to people I've been speaking to.
