The Rise of Khaled Khaled
In the past, Khaled's multi-rapper summits have generated memorable jams. The rise of electronic dance music has also inverted the concept of the lead artist. French DJ David Getta takes lead on virtually all of his tracks despite being supported by very starry singers and rappers. Sia got her big breakthrough in 2013 in a featured role on Getta's soaring inspirational EDM-Ballad titanium. Daft Punk took the lead credit on their blockbuster Get Lucky while veteran accompanists Pharrell Williams and Niall Rogers were featured roles.
