The War Is Not Against the Enemies of the Imagination

The prize has always been that the war is for the imagination. Sometimes you're going to have to deal with those enemies and they will hurt you. The great Scottish modernist poet, Hugh McDermott said something like it all,. He said to be a poet you have to have a very thin sensitive skin as you just said or but to survive being a poet you must have a very thick skin. And so you know, watch out because then you have toDeal with the results of being so sensitive or being so thin skinned.
