There's been a growing focus in recent years on the significant role that cooperation plays in evolution. The author of Job had no idea about quantum mechanics. Augustine had no idea of quantum mechanics. Calvin, Luther didn't. John Wesley didn't. And so when we go to the Bible, we need to go in humbly on its own terms.
