'Harriet' Is a Middle Child.
She was born araminta ross and went by the nickname mi whest to, of course, she always be minty. She gets married, and takes her mother's name, harriet. So we're not quite sure whether this is really to just honour her mother, or if it's part of it, like, a religious conversion. Eventually also works as a muskrat trap keeper. In addition to the beatings, sheis also physiologically vulnerable for all the work that she is doing.
