The Loneliness Epidemic in Sardinia
In sardinia, you keep your aging parents near by, or they're put to work. In a family where there's an aging pair nearby, the children actually have lower rates of mortality and lower rates of disease. It's this virtuous circle that older people are living longer, kids are surviving better. And especially now around the holidays, it's not a bad idea to think about reinforcing those family bonds.
