Shannon's Simplification of Information Theory

Mika Brzezinski: I was able to read and make sense of Shannon's papers including his famous 1948 game. He took it just to such a greater level of simplicity like if you have a letter, how many times does the letter T appear? Period. She says even someone with a basic education without background in that field can really watch as Shannon is walking you through the basic concept of this field.
