In the 70s and 80s, you might have trusted one writer. You might have trusted your one buddy who went to all these movies. And there was way more rolling of the dice back then that I feel like the probably is now. The horror film community is just completely linked online with tons of websites. But in the 80s and 90s, what it was, was Fangoria would have a piece on a movie. They're never going to be critical about the movie per se. There's always a set visit and they talk about John Freckenheimer's prophecies.
