Is There a Rule to Interrupting Artists?

A number of the artists here in this book have rules around when people are allowed to interrupt them, and what are their designated work times. So it seems like those rules and patterns are pretty common amongst these folks. What were some of the patterns that you noticed or that you liked? Maybe maybe some of these you're already doing them. But if you're not, i'm not sure what you do at that.
