The Importance of Separation of Church and State in Judaism
I too believe in separation of church and state. There 's a moral compass that i think should be part of a religious practice, but also a broader sense of what it means to be a part of a community. So another call back to one of your previous guests, a douglas roskof who wrote o nothing sacred - which was a profoundly influential book on me. That the premises and idea is that under gird judyism really have a lot to offer the world,. If we can tap into those, those could have a profound impact, you know, honour society. And that that's maybe a path forward that we don't usually talk about in america.
