The goals of therapy really need to emerge organically from the work of, you know, the two parties in therapy. And what we're doing now is we've got researchers who have never met the patient and making an a priori decision on their behalf. It's not even the clinicians don't even make the decision. The whole thing spirals further and further and further away from anything that I hope serious clinician recognizes as meaningful psychotherapy.
