The Incipient Stages of Your Writing

There are a lot of things that you, you know, through lines to my childhood. I loved school and I had some amazing teachers. But socially, I was a bit of a misfit. And so I felt a little bit like it was almost like kind of a prison for me. It hadn't been for him because he kind of taught me some basic lessons about writing that I never forgot.
